1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Union International, operating the HeyGlobel website, mobile applications, eSIM platform and Community services, collects, uses, stores, shares and protects information.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- The HeyGlobel iOS and Android applications.
- The HeyGlobel website and customer portal.
- eSIM purchases, activations, top-ups and support services.
- The HeyGlobel Community, including profiles, posts, photos, comments, reactions, reports and related features.
- Communications with HeyGlobel customer support.
By using HeyGlobel, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on the features and services you use.
2.1 Account and Profile Information
When you create or complete an account, we may collect:
- First and last name.
- Email address.
- Username.
- Country and country calling code.
- Mobile number.
- Password in encrypted or securely hashed form.
- Profile photograph or avatar.
- Biography, gender, social links and other optional profile information.
- Account verification status.
- Google or Apple account identifiers when social login is used.
We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
2.2 eSIM and Transaction Information
When you purchase, activate, manage or top up an eSIM, we may collect:
- Order and transaction identifiers.
- Plan name, destination, data allowance, validity and price.
- Currency and payment status.
- eSIM identifiers, including ICCID where required to provide the service.
- Activation, installation and provisioning information.
- eSIM usage, remaining data, expiry and top-up history.
- Refund, cancellation and support records.
- Limited payment information and payment references provided by payment processors.
Complete payment-card information may be processed directly by the relevant payment provider and may not be stored by HeyGlobel.
2.3 Community Content
When you use the HeyGlobel Community, we may collect and process:
- Username, display name, profile image, biography and public profile details.
- Posts, captions, travel tips, destination information, photographs and other uploaded media.
- Comments, replies, likes, reactions, saved posts and shares.
- Hashtags, categories and location or destination tags.
- Reports submitted about posts, comments or users.
- Moderation decisions, blocked-user relationships and account enforcement records.
2.4 Device and Technical Information
We may automatically collect:
- Device model and device type.
- Operating system and app version.
- Browser type.
- IP address.
- Language, time zone and country-level information.
- Mobile network and connection information.
- App installation or device identifiers where permitted.
- Push-notification token.
- Login times, session information and security logs.
- Crash reports, diagnostics, performance information and API errors.
- Features used, screens viewed and general app activity.
We may use an IP address to estimate a user’s country for profile setup, destination availability, fraud prevention, security or regional service delivery.
2.5 Location Information
HeyGlobel does not require continuous background location tracking for normal eSIM use.
We may process:
- An approximate country inferred from an IP address.
- Location information that you voluntarily choose to share with customer support.
- Destination information manually selected when creating a Community post.
Precise device location is collected only when you choose to use a feature that clearly requests it and after the appropriate device permission is granted.
You may decline location permission and manually provide relevant regional or destination information where available.
2.6 Photos and Media
When you choose to upload a profile picture, Community image, support attachment or other media, we process the selected files for the feature you requested.
We do not access your entire photo library unless permitted by your device and required by the selected upload method.
2.7 Customer Support and Communications
When you contact support, we may collect:
- Your contact information.
- Account, order, eSIM or technical details.
- Messages, emails, support requests and attachments.
- Troubleshooting information.
- Information voluntarily shared through WhatsApp or another support channel.
2.8 Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website and web-based app pages may use cookies, local storage, session identifiers and similar technologies to:
- Keep users signed in.
- Remember preferences.
- Secure sessions.
- Operate checkout and customer-portal functions.
- Understand website performance and usage.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
You may control cookies through your browser settings, although some services may not work correctly without essential cookies.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Create, verify, secure and manage accounts.
- Provide eSIM plans, activations, installations, usage information and top-ups.
- Process payments, orders, refunds and transaction records.
- Provide customer support and technical troubleshooting.
- Send account verification, security, purchase, usage, expiry and service notifications.
- Deliver optional marketing communications where permitted and consented to.
- Personalize destinations, country options and service information.
- Operate and moderate the HeyGlobel Community.
- Display posts, profiles, comments, reactions and other Community activity.
- Review reports and enforce the Community Guidelines.
- Detect spam, fraud, account misuse, security incidents and prohibited content.
- Improve app reliability, functionality, design and performance.
- Comply with legal, accounting, tax, regulatory and contractual obligations.
- Establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Legal Bases
Depending on your location, we process information under one or more of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract, including providing purchased eSIM services.
- Your consent, including optional marketing, media or location permissions.
- Legitimate interests, including security, support, product improvement, fraud prevention and Community moderation.
- Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Protection of users, HeyGlobel, service providers and the public.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
5. How We Share Information
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with the following categories of recipients.
5.1 eSIM and Connectivity Providers
We may share order, plan, activation, device and eSIM information with network, roaming, provisioning and eSIM service providers to deliver the purchased service.
5.2 Payment Providers
Payment and transaction information may be processed by payment gateways, banks, card networks, wallet providers, fraud-prevention providers and other payment partners.
5.3 Infrastructure and Technology Providers
We may use third parties for website and database hosting, cloud storage, email delivery, WhatsApp or messaging delivery, push notifications, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, security monitoring and customer support.
These providers may process information only to perform services for HeyGlobel and are expected to apply appropriate confidentiality and security protections.
5.4 Google and Apple
When you use Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, the relevant provider processes information according to its own privacy terms and provides HeyGlobel with permitted account information.
5.5 Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process or government request.
- Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents or illegal activity.
- Protect the rights, property or safety of users, HeyGlobel, service providers or the public.
- Enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Respond to emergencies involving a risk of serious harm.
5.6 Business Transfers
If HeyGlobel or Digital Union International is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
6. Public Community Information
Community usernames, profile images, biographies, posts, comments, reactions and destination tags may be publicly visible within the app.
Other users may view, capture, copy or share publicly available Community content. HeyGlobel cannot control information that another user copies or shares outside the service.
Reports, block lists, private moderation notes, contact information and non-public account details are not displayed publicly unless disclosure is required by law.
7. Community Moderation
HeyGlobel may use automated tools and human review to detect or review content that may violate our Community Guidelines.
We may:
- Review content before or after publication.
- Reject pending posts.
- Restrict the visibility of content.
- Remove posts, comments, images or accounts.
- Issue warnings.
- Limit Community functionality.
- Suspend or permanently disable accounts.
- Retain moderation records to prevent repeated abuse.
Submitting content does not guarantee that it will be approved or remain available.
8. Marketing Communications
We may send marketing communications only where permitted by law or where you have provided consent.
You may unsubscribe through the available link, app setting or by contacting us.
Service, security, payment, verification, expiry and account messages are operational communications and may still be sent when necessary.
9. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Retention periods may depend on:
- Whether your account remains active.
- Whether an eSIM, order, support request or dispute remains active.
- Legal, tax, accounting, payment, fraud-prevention and regulatory obligations.
- Security and Community moderation needs.
- Backup and disaster-recovery schedules.
After an account-deletion request, we will delete or anonymize associated personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, transaction records, dispute resolution or enforcement.
Deleted information may remain temporarily in secured backups until those backups are overwritten according to normal retention schedules.
Public Community content associated with a deleted account may be removed or anonymized, subject to legal and moderation requirements.
10. Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion from inside the HeyGlobel app through:

Account deletion permanently removes or anonymizes the account and associated personal information, subject to necessary legal and security retention.
Deleting the app from your device does not automatically delete your HeyGlobel account.
We may ask you to verify account ownership before completing a deletion request.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal information.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion.
- Request a portable copy of certain information.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent.
- Opt out of marketing.
- Lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.

12. Device Permissions and Choices
You can manage permissions through your device settings, including:
- Photos or media access.
- Notifications.
- Location access.
- Camera access, where available.
Disabling a permission may prevent the associated feature from working but should not prevent use of unrelated app functions.
You can also edit profile details, change Community privacy options where available, delete your posts, report content, block users, disable marketing communications and request account deletion.
13. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, organizational and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration and disclosure.
Measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication, secure password hashing, monitoring, backups and restricted administrative access.
No online service, mobile application, storage system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. International Data Transfers
HeyGlobel operates internationally. Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required, we use appropriate contractual, technical or organizational safeguards for international transfers.
15. Children’s Privacy
HeyGlobel is not intended for children under 13 or any higher minimum age required by local law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to use the service.
A parent or guardian who believes that a child has provided personal information may contact us to request review and deletion.
Users who are not legally able to enter into binding agreements must use HeyGlobel only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
16. Third-Party Links and Services
HeyGlobel may contain links to mobile networks, payment providers, social platforms, travel resources or other third-party services.
Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. HeyGlobel is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, app features, Community services or business operations.
The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.

1. Purpose
The HeyGlobel Community is designed for travellers to share useful, respectful and authentic travel experiences.
Users may share travel tips, destination photographs, local discoveries, connectivity experiences, food recommendations, transport advice and other relevant travel content.
By creating a profile, post, comment, reply, reaction or other Community contribution, you agree to these Community Guidelines, the HeyGlobel Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
2. Travel-First Content
Community content should be relevant to travel, destinations, connectivity, culture, food, transport, accommodation, safety, activities or genuine personal experiences.
Content may be removed when it is unrelated, misleading, repetitive, disruptive or primarily intended to manipulate engagement.
3. Respect Other People
Treat other users with dignity.
Do not post:
- Harassment, bullying, intimidation or humiliation.
- Threats of violence or harm.
- Hate speech or discrimination.
- Attacks based on race, nationality, religion, disability, age, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, caste, immigration status or another protected characteristic.
- Content intended to provoke targeted abuse.
- Repeated unwanted contact.
- Doxxing or publication of private information.
4. Sexual and Adult Content
HeyGlobel does not allow:
- Pornography or sexually explicit content.
- Sexual services or solicitation.
- Nudity intended to be sexual or provocative.
- Non-consensual intimate content.
- Sexual exploitation.
- Content involving sexualization of minors.
- Links directing users to prohibited adult content.
Content involving child sexual abuse or exploitation may be reported to the relevant authorities.
5. Child Safety
Do not post content that:
- Exploits, endangers, grooms or sexualizes a child.
- Reveals a child’s sensitive personal information without authority.
- Encourages dangerous challenges involving minors.
- Promotes child abuse, trafficking or exploitation.
HeyGlobel may immediately remove such content, suspend the account, preserve relevant evidence and contact competent authorities where appropriate.
6. Violence, Dangerous Activity and Self-Harm
Do not post:
- Graphic violence without legitimate travel, educational, documentary or public-interest context.
- Threats or encouragement of violence.
- Terrorist recruitment, praise, propaganda or operational material.
- Instructions intended to facilitate serious harm.
- Content encouraging suicide, self-harm or dangerous challenges.
- Instructions for making weapons or explosives.
- Content encouraging reckless or illegal activity.
Travel safety discussions are permitted when presented responsibly and without encouraging harm.
7. Illegal Products and Activities
Do not use the Community to:
- Buy, sell, arrange or promote illegal drugs.
- Sell firearms, explosives, prohibited weapons or controlled items.
- Facilitate trafficking, exploitation, prostitution or illegal migration.
- Promote fraud, theft, hacking, forged documents or financial crime.
- Arrange illegal gambling.
- Encourage violation of immigration, customs, aviation, telecommunications or local laws.
8. Fraud, Scams and Misleading Content
Do not post:
- Fake travel offers.
- False eSIM promotions.
- Phishing links.
- Requests for passwords, verification codes or payment credentials.
- Impersonation of HeyGlobel, a government authority, airline, hotel or another person.
- Fabricated emergencies intended to obtain money.
- Manipulated reviews or misleading endorsements.
- False safety, visa, health, immigration or legal information presented as verified fact.
Users should independently confirm important travel, visa, health and legal information with official sources.
9. Privacy and Personal Information
Do not publish another person’s:
- Home address.
- Private mobile number.
- Email address.
- Passport or identity document.
- Banking or card details.
- Login credentials.
- Booking reference.
- eSIM QR code.
- ICCID or activation information.
- Precise live location.
- Private messages.
- Medical or other highly sensitive information.
Do not share your own passwords, one-time codes, eSIM QR codes or payment credentials.
10. Intellectual Property
Post only content that you created or have permission to use.
Do not upload:
- Copyrighted photographs without permission.
- Stolen videos or articles.
- Trademarked material in a misleading manner.
- Content that falsely suggests sponsorship or affiliation.
- Another user’s content without authorization.
HeyGlobel may remove content following a valid intellectual-property complaint.
11. Authentic Identity and Impersonation
Do not impersonate HeyGlobel, HeyGlobel staff, another user, a business, a public authority, an airline, hotel, network provider or travel company.
Only accounts authorized by HeyGlobel may use an official verification badge.
Parody or commentary must be clearly identifiable and must not mislead users.
12. Spam and Manipulation
Do not:
- Post repetitive or irrelevant promotions.
- Mass-comment identical messages.
- Use automated accounts or bots without authorization.
- Artificially increase likes, reactions, comments or followers.
- Coordinate fake engagement.
- Post malicious shortened links.
- Promote unrelated businesses repeatedly.
- Contact users for unsolicited commercial offers.
Reasonable travel recommendations are permitted when genuine and transparently disclosed.
13. Commercial Content
Promotional or sponsored content must be truthful and clearly disclosed.
Users must not falsely claim that HeyGlobel endorses a product, destination, hotel, activity or service.
HeyGlobel may restrict commercial activity or require prior approval.
14. Accurate Travel Advice
Do not knowingly provide dangerous or materially false information concerning:
- Borders or visas.
- Entry requirements.
- Local laws.
- Public safety.
- Emergency services.
- Healthcare.
- Transport.
- Telecommunications.
- eSIM compatibility.
- Network coverage.
Travel conditions can change. Users should verify important information through official authorities and service providers.
15. Reporting Content and Users
Users can report objectionable posts, comments or accounts through the available in-app reporting options.
Reports should be submitted honestly and should include an appropriate reason.
Do not misuse reporting tools to harass users, suppress legitimate opinions or make knowingly false allegations.
Reports are reviewed privately and do not guarantee a particular outcome.
16. Blocking Users
Users may block accounts they do not want to interact with.
Blocking may prevent or limit profile viewing, content interaction, comments, replies or other Community contact.
Blocking is a personal safety tool and does not automatically prove that the blocked user violated these Guidelines.
17. Moderation and Enforcement
HeyGlobel may review Community content automatically or manually.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- Reject a post before publication.
- Remove content.
- Limit content visibility.
- Disable comments.
- Issue a warning.
- Restrict posting or interaction.
- Remove verification.
- Temporarily suspend an account.
- Permanently disable an account.
- Prevent creation of replacement accounts.
- Notify authorities where required or necessary to prevent serious harm.
We may consider context, severity, intent, previous violations, user safety, applicable law and the risk of continued harm.
Serious violations may result in immediate removal without prior warning.
18. Content Ownership and Permission
You retain ownership of content you create, subject to the licence granted under the HeyGlobel Terms of Service so that HeyGlobel can host, display, moderate, distribute and operate the Community service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content is lawful and that you have the necessary permissions from people appearing in uploaded media.
19. Content Removal and Account Deletion
Users may delete their own content where that option is available.
Deleted content may remain temporarily in backups or moderation records.
Deleting an account may result in Community content being deleted, anonymized or disassociated from the account, subject to legitimate legal, security, abuse-prevention and record-retention needs.
20. Appeals and Questions
A user who believes that content or an account was restricted incorrectly may contact HeyGlobel and provide:
- The relevant username.
- Post or comment details.
- The approximate date.
- A clear explanation.
HeyGlobel may review the decision but is not required to restore content that violates these Guidelines, the Terms of Service or applicable law.

21. Updates
These Community Guidelines may be updated as the Community develops, new features are introduced or legal and store requirements change.
Continued Community use after an update means that the updated Guidelines apply.
